Tayden Haile
Principal/ CEO
Tayden Hale is the principal and CEO of the Haile Academy. He is a Navy veteran father of 7 children, a husband, pastor, and a community service leader. He has a AS in Nursing, BS in Criminal Justice and is finishing up his Master’s of Divinity. He has a passion for education and loves to see his students grow and excel beyond their prescribed capabilities.
Toyia Haile
COO
Since starting the Haile Academy of Higher Learning with her husband Tayden, Toyia has consistently brought passion and dedication to inspiring our youth every single day. Her experience and love for education and learning makes her a great fit as our Principal. Mrs. Haile has 18 years of educational experience, with 13 of those years being in a public and charter school setting. The remaining 5 years were in a youth services program. Mrs. Haile has served as a Life skills coach, Counselor, High school science teacher, Assistant principal, Science Fair Coordinator and District Curriculum Coach. Mrs. Haile has a bachelor's in Biology Pre-med, a masters's in Ed Leadership and currently obtaining her PhD in Ed Leadership with emphasis on Curriculum and Instruction. Along with her husband Tayden, they parent seven beautiful children, for which two are special needs, one gifted and the remaining four general Ed students. They are the reason behind the passion to open a school that is academically sound and understands that the whole child must be taught


Ash Shannon
Executive Assistant
Ms. Ashley attended Lycoming College. Ms. Ashley is a great asset to the team, she helps to manage the schedule in a way that accommodates the various learning styles of all the children in our school. She also helps to coordinate all our fun learning activities on and off campus!
Yolanda Osborne-Kohn
Reading/ ELA Specialist
Mrs. Kohn has worked in education and finance for over 35 years, in both the private and public sector. Her experience includes teaching all ages from 3-99! She specializes in reading, grammar, and phonics. Her goal is to use her background in early childhood development to incorporate fundamental and practical applications of knowledge for students.


Kyley Mendez
Vocal/Visual Arts
Mrs. Mendez studied the vocal arts at Douglas Anderson for 3 years. She facilitated and worked alongside youth of all ages and abilities at the MWR Youth and Teen Center. Mentoring and inspiring youth to get out of their comfort zones and try new things is a passion for her. Her experience and gentle encouragement will aid in giving our students a chance to understand and dive into the fun of music theory and the ability to unleash their inner voices in a positive and encouraging environment!
Jay Brown
Drum Line
Mr. Jay Brown's specialty is the drum set with an emphasis on working with special needs students. He studied music at Florida A & M University and FSCJ, where he studied jazz. He directs an amazing drumline of talented young people. We are so happy to have him on our team.


Denise Hambrick
Yoga/ Mindfulness
Denise Hambrick is our amazing yoga teacher. She spent 30+ years as a pediatric nurse working primarily with special needs children. She has always had a passion for alternative medicines and healing. So yoga was her natural next step. We are so lucky to have her
