Ash Shannon

Executive Assistant

Miss. Ash attended Lycoming college for art, before moving to pursue a career with dogs. She apprenticed and became a Dog trainer at 20, where she found her love of working with children with different abilities while training service dogs for them. During this time she began training her own service dog Kali - a German Shepherd, who now attends school with her each day. This experience gives her a special insight and responsibility into working with children with different disabilities. She works with our students to help each of them mitigate their disabilities with coping skills in their day to day lives whether in the classroom, in the social lives, or giving them daily life skills to take home with them as well!

Chaun Cameron

Teacher

Mr. Chaun has experience with children going back 30 years. I had a babysitting business at 13, I have 24 years experience driving a schools bus, I have been a para professional, I have worked at after school programs like team-up/boys and girls club, I had several clients for behavior modification, and the best of all those roles, a step parent for 24 years. In my spare time, I am stylist, a relationship coach, and a financial coach. I enjoy empowering others to get to their next level, to accomplish their goals, and to educate them on how to fully love themselves. Being at Haile Academy gives Mr. Chaun  an opportunity to utilize his professional, and personal experience to the fullest. His goal with the students is to ensure that they understand how what they practice now becomes a permanent part of their life, so it is important to be consistent, kind, respectful, and integral.
